GA4 being present does not mean GA4 is working.
Common problems we see are missing installs, duplicated IDs, malformed installs, or GA4 only appearing on some pages. When that happens, analytics becomes unreliable and hard to trust.
Baseline does not inspect your events or conversions. It checks whether GA4 is publicly detectable in a way that suggests it is installed correctly. If GA4 looks missing or malformed, that is a warning sign before you waste time inside dashboards.
